Ok, so I'll start with some more information about what we've been up to. Daddy just got over pneumonia last week. That sure was fun! Poor guy, was so sick, I'm not sure why when this stuff hits him, it hits him so hard. I just hope the rest of us stay clear. I kept the kids away from him, asked him to stay in the basement, and tried to take good care of him.
Last week, T started gymnastics again. Ms. Barbara, the Director from preschool is her teacher, so it is fun to see a NPP face again. Friday, we had a busy evening! Alli, our good buddy, was having her 5th birthday (sorry, no pictures from that) at Jump 2 It, then we raced over to the NHS football game so the girls from cheerleading camp could do their cheers. It POURED rain, but then eventually cleared so we stayed for the first quarter of the game. T was the typical girl being chatty with her girlfriends during the game, and J LOVED it. He sat on Daddy's lap and really watched football. Saturday was soccer, and then a 'family party', as we call it (just the four of us, doing a bunch of nothing). Sunday, Mommy went to a baby shower, a very fun baby shower for my dear friend Lisa who looked beautiful.
J has been going to preschool. He does not like to leave Mommy (no surprise to those of you who know him!), but they say he calms down before I can even reach the door. When I pick him up he seems happy, but assures me the next school day, "No Jack school". He is just going to be one of those kids, I suppose. Always giving Mommy a hard time, but often he is very cute and cuddly (the horns are still there, though).
The weather has been absolutely beautiful here this week. We're enjoying some cooler temps, and the park. I'm off to Charlotte, NC this weekend to visit with a girlfriend (CAN'T WAIT) who has no kids. It will be so nice to relax in someone's home with no particular agenda. Oh, they do have an awesome dog, and a cat or two, so it will be nice to be around some pets. I sure do miss having little animal friends, but do not need to add to my list of dependents right now.

What a terrific idea! Bravo for thinking of it and carrying it out. You are off to a wonderful start. Great pics and info about y'all's comings and goings! This looks like it will be great fun, if I can get it figured out. :o)
Love it!!
