Congrats to Kelly and Richard. We wish you many years of happiness......
We went to see a good friend get married last weekend...in St. Petersburg, FL. It was a long drive, but beautiful weather and a beautiful wedding. We had a great time visiting with the groom, catching up with the bride (who we hadn't seen in years) and enjoying some relaxing drinks with some of the Baltimore Orioles (how ironic, since we were there with friends from MD) into the wee, wee hours of Saturday night. I don't know who we think we are staying up until 3am, but we did. Funny, that all kinds of people were right there with us-the picture of John with Kevin Millar from the Orioles (below) was taken at a ridiculous 2:12am, another with Jim Palmer at 12:23.

Hat parade
T's teacher is so creative. T invited me to a Hat Parade at her school Friday. I had no idea what I was in for, but I knew I had to make it, as she talked about it all week. They all made different types of hats, and Ms. Tonya interviewed them ("how does your hat make you feel", "how did you make your hat", etc.). When each kid went on parade, she read their answers to the interview. Very cute. T said she made this top hat because she thought her Mommy would like it-what a doll! Thank God I was there to see her. Here is T and her good bud, Hope.
And here is T giving me an adoring look. Too bad I don't always get that look. She was so happy I was there. And a bonus was that I was there without J.
