Its almost time for Christmas, thank goodness.

I have been anxiously awaiting the part of Christmas where 'all the children were nestled all snug in their beds'...or however that saying goes. Well, we're almost there. And boy, has it been bumpy getting there.

Last week was filled with parties and T's actual birthday, which we celebrated with little fanfare, since she had the big party on 12/8. Both T and J had class parties last Thursday, I opted not to attend T's, since I was just over the party thing. Here is J with his friend Emma (have I mentioned, I LOVE her?! She is so sweet) at his class party. We (John and I) had a party Friday and a dinner Saturday night near ATL scheduled. Friday, I had a parent/teacher conference with T's teacher. She is doing great-a classroom leader. I'm not surprised, especially since she can be a little bossy (motherly)-wonder where she got that from?! I am so impressed with the Pre-K program, I would recommend it to anyone. I can't believe all they are doing with the children, and how much they are learning (Denise-I swear I typed this before you called and told me the news about Alli). It has been a great experience for us all. T really loves her teacher and has met some wonderful new friends.

J came down with bronchitis, a mild case mid-week (last week) and T tossed her cookies after school Friday. I thought the party for Friday night was ruined, and thought for sure she had strep, which has been going around, but a quick visit to the doctor Friday afternoon revealed that my girl just had a bad cold and needed some rest. She said the "junky bologna" from school made her throw up and that she felt much better once it was gone. Probably so, junky bologna sounds no good to me either. So, after putting the kids to bed, we went on to the party Friday night and told the sitter to call us if needed. We had a great time catching up with our local adult friends at Kristen's beautiful home. I was glad not to be hosting. Saturday we had a nice dinner with one of John's coworkers and his wife. I drank a martini after we got there (on a very empty stomach) after we witnessed an accident happen right in front of us on the rainy interstate. The people here drive like maniacs, and I had just finished telling an old friend from home that I needed to be distracted (I was talking on the cell phone while John drove...and very carefully I might add) during this long drive to our dinner destination during what was probably the most rain we've had in at least 4 or 5 months. It was a little scary, but I don't think (hope) that nobody was injured. The accident came to a stop in lanes 2 and 3 of 5 and since there were still cars coming at us and it was dark, we just called 911 and gave our name instead of stopping-too dangerous. So, I drank a lot that night, thankful we got there ok (Pastor Joe would probably have preferred I prayed, but a drink was what I needed). I probably drank too much, especially considering this was the first time we had ever hung out with this couple. Oh well, I hope they forgive me if I was silly....and I know I was a little off, but I won't embarrass myself and say exactly how. I'll just have to be better next time. Sunday we rested and just did some rearranging in the kids' rooms. T's room is almost complete! I'll post a pic of that later.

This week there were only two days of school for T and none for J. Tuesday was T's school performance. It was very cute. Each class sang a song and they all sang one together for the grand finale. The cutest part was when Santa made an appearance during 'Santa Claus is coming to town' and T just lit up. Check out her wave in this pic:
The next minute she is talking to her bud Trevor in disbelief. The program was adorable.

We've just relaxed the rest of this week (i.e. drinking and eating a lot), enjoying John's birthday Wednesday and getting ready for our visitors due to arrive today. Actually, Uncle Buck and Jen are already in town, and the kids are napping to prepare for the party that will surely come later as I write.

I snapped a cute picture of the kiddos this morning while we were lounging around: I am happy to report that we successfully got a nice haircut for Jack after this picture was taken. I was so scarred after the last time, that I had been reluctant, but it had to be done!

If I don't post for a while, its because I'm planning to enjoy some downtime with the family. I may sneak away to document some of our fun-its always enjoyable to look back on the memories from each holiday. I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday!

Birthday time!

Ms Tonya's class...well, those that weren't in the bathroom at the time.
Well this weekend started with a bang-T had a field trip to a Christmas tree farm. It was a fun field trip, albeit a bit far-50 miles away. The day started a bit chilly (by GA standards, this means 50s, hence the gloves and hats in the pic above), but ended up beautifully, with all the coats, hats, and mittens being ditched by the end of the day. I was glad she rode home with me with the incentive of....picking up her cake! Thats right, we celebrated T's 5th birthday this weekend (the real day is Wednesday).
Here she is with her High School Musical Cupcake cake (hot, and ready to open presents)

We had a blast with about 14 friends and an absolutely beautiful day. Thank goodness, as I have no idea what I would have done with all those kids in the house. The kids were all great, and I think a good time was had by all. We had some fun entertainment-my friend Shari came to do parachute, obstacle course, and limbo activities with the kids. They loved it, even if they were a bit hot. I mean, it really was hot! We had some cake, opened presents (T waited so patiently until the party just about over and asked, "Can I open my presents now?"-a hard thing for a kid that has to wait until December!!), and then we did the pinata. The only downside to this pinata is it didn't hold enough candy! I should have scattered some more about, but I just didn't get to everything! Oh well, hopefully the kids had a good time and the parents were happy to have a few hours to themselves. All except poor Kelley-who got there a little late and got stuck. Thanks, though, Kel, for your help. You were a good sport for someone who was looking for a little much needed free time.
Parachute activity

T got this cute guitar-thanks to Grampy. Well, she wanted this Cheetah Girls' guitar-$150. I convinced her that we could make this plain white guitar into a Cheetah Girls guitar using some stickers.
She is a natural. Unfortunately Mommy doesn't know how to flip the picture around. Rock on, Sweet Pea.
Tonight, we wrote a Christmas list to Santa (all thats left is a 'real live cat'-no way), and we made a gingerbread house (warning: if you are thinking of doing this, and haven't already purchsed the kit, my advice is to purchase the kit with the pre-assembled gingerbread house).

J missed the whole party. Everyone thought he'd be mad, but I knew as long as he got his cupcake, he'd be alright.

It was a fun, but tiring weekend. I am glad it is over. Let it be Christmas. Oh, oops, we have another birthday in this house next week. More celebrations to come. All this is good fun, no matter how exhausting. I wouldn't change it for the world.

You know you live in GA when...

You have this in your backyard! Kidding, really this could have happened in any state, I just thought it was cute-a pickup truck in the yard. John and his dad picked up two loads of wood for the fireplace this weekend. Too bad it was almost 80 degrees today, and a little too warm to enjoy it.

3rd tooth...gone

As predicted the Tooth Fairy will be making another visit to this house...even sooner than I thought. T lost tooth #3 this morning, just minutes after she arrived at school. Here is a pic. of my toothless girl, and the new tooth that is growing in its place.

Some of you have asked, what does the Tooth Fairy bring? Well, in this house its $1. I mean, wouldn't the tooth fairy be broke if it was much more than that?! Seems to me that is still a lot more than the 25 cents my Tooth Fairy brought. Of course, this in no way keeps up with the Tooth Fairy at T's friend Maggie's house. That crazy fairy brought $25! I guess because Maggie's Mom works in a Dental office, she thinks she deserves the extra cash since she digs around in people's mouths all day. Who knows the logic, but T is delighted with the dollar bills. And they keep comin'.

Tooth #2...gone. Is that how it goes?

Ok, so it wasn't too long ago that T lost her first tooth. Tonight, as she stuck her fingers in her mouth repeatedly after we were out at the local Target and BJ's, I pleaded with her NOT to put those fingers in her mouth to touch that pesky loose tooth. See, she has not one, but two loose teeth. Or she had two loose teeth. I told her that she was risking getting sick and missing her birthday party Saturday if she stuck her dirty fingers in her mouth (yes, I'm paranoid about germs). So, I told her to use her tongue to wiggle the tooth, not the fingers. And lo and behold...that pesky tooth fell out right there-seconds later in the car. I thought I was in the clear.

Hours later (sad, but true, it took me hours to check) I checked out the new 'void' in her mouth only to find that the tooth that was very loose was not the tooth that fell out tonight. Therefore, not only will this kid have a birthday in the next week, but another visit from the Tooth Fairy...I'm sure of it.

Stop growing up so fast, T, will ya?? Oh, and give the Tooth Fairy a break.

No time to blog?

Not so. I should be cleaning....but cleaning will always be there. There is a tremendous amount of dust upstairs, but it'll be back tomorrow. Really, I am wasting time on the computer instead of cleaning the wood floors because T is on her way home from school early (only a few minutes) and so why get started with a project I can't finish before she gets here, I say.

These are busy times. With birthdays approaching, sickness last week (cross your fingers we don't get it back), and Christmas just around the corner it seems like this time of year is so busy, yet it is the most wonderful time of the year. So, as soon as the kid gets home from school early, I plan to pop some cookies in the oven and start the tightening of the waistband. Just because....

And then I'll do some cleaning.

A sick day = Productive Day around the house

I don't ever like for the kids to be sick, but today, just as I was starting my shift at the Y, J threw up! It was out of nowehere, and I'm not totally sure that he is ill, but we are home bound for the day, which means I have a day around the house and I certainly have plenty to keep me busy. The popsicles from Ms. Jody were a big hit (and help to mommy), so thanks! Anyway, whenever someone is sick around here, I get a lot done. Something about being stuck at home makes me very productive. I guess it is something about being forced to stay at home that makes me want to cross things off the list, including things that have been there for some time. If only I had more paint to finish up my painting!! Here is a look at the new guest room (taken from the hallway which still needs another coat of paint, hence the blue tape). I can't get this picture to rotate the way I want, so hopefully you can get the idea...just tilt your head to the side.Take a look at some more new things around the house...
T's new quilt and sham...a find at Belk, and I think the print is awesome, albeit a bit bright (same problem with this picture....sorry again).
So now we're going with a beachy/aloha themed room. Here is a pic of the sham up close, so you can see all the color! Whew.
I know John will have fun when I put him to work hanging curtains and a bulletin board in her room this weekend. Then we'll just need a few accessories and we should be set.
Back to work this afternoon. Have to put the playrooom back together and fold some more laundry. Thanks, J, for the sick day, but I hope you feel better, little man!

Getting ready for Christmas and rain!!

We have some welcome rain today. My mom just left last night, so we are getting the house back together (not that it was apart, just doing some 'maintenance'). We started decorating the house for Christmas, even though the only party we'll be hosting this year will be a birthday party on December 8 for T's friends. We'll gladly host family for Xmas and I think we're going to have a nice crowd, to include Uncle Buck and Aunt Jen (hope so, we miss her!!!). That said, we also painted our new guest room today. I'll be doing coat #2 tomorrow. I'm cooking up some Turkey Pot Pie to go along with our Fall weather (cold rain) for dinner tonight. Even though we had a small turkey, there are still enough leftovers for soup Tuesday night-thanks to my mom who made the broth while she was here. I'll post more about her visit later. For now, here is a picture of my 'Maryland' tree. An ode to my home state. This is one of three trees in our house and greets our guests in the foyer.
I love Christmas, and have gotten my husband in the spirit, too. I am sure, soon enough, we'll have a sports themed tree in the basement. I can't quite figure out why we don't have one yet.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We sure did.

Fall soccer is over

Today was the last day of the Fall soccer season. We had a great season, great coaches (thanks Coach Jim and Coach Brian), and a great group of kids. The kids got a trophy and some cookie cake to celebrate the end of the season. Now, no more running around on Saturday mornings, which will be nice since the holidays are upon us. J also enjoyed the cookie cake-yummy! Another great recipe from Denise. (Can you see his horns poking through his hair?) Look at those blue eyes!

After soccer, we rushed home to get showered and get to our winter photo shoot with Sara Anthony (www.smapix.com). The kids posed well together, so it will be great if we get a good shot of them together. We had some awesome pics done with Sara in the Spring, but since T has a birthday coming up and the session was free (part of a Portrait Party), we decided to go for it. I hope I'll be able to report that we got at least a few good ones. Should know in about a week.

How can you not love a kid.....

that wears a turkey hat? Refer to two posts ago regarding my dear son. One minute, he is stubborn and bad, and the next.....

He entertained us last night for almost an hour running around with this 'hat' and his macaroni necklace. Makes me almsot forget about the haircut incident. That is his I'm really cute smile. And he was.

Where do the days go?

This is why it is always Christmas before you know it around here. I am a stay-at-home mother and I used to think that once I was at home, my house would always look perfect, a wonderful meal would grace the table each night, and I'd have happy go lucky kids. Well....not so much. The kids are generally pretty good, but as for the rest.....

We've been under construction for the last week. I should say that I'm glad that it only took a week, but there is still work to be done. Painting-who knows when I'll get to that, but probably not until after Thanksgiving. We had a door and a closet put on a room on the first floor so that it can now be used as a bedroom for our guests. Also because for the last three years, I have used this room as a place to stash crap, and I get tired of looking at it. I am so happy to have this room and I hope our guests will like it too. It comes just in time for Grammy's visit which begins Sunday.

Last week was actually unusually quiet-no birthday parties, nothing that kept us running all over the place. We had a GREAT soccer game with T Saturday. I was oh so dissapointed that Daddy was not there to see what an AWESOME job she did. She was in the game for the first time in a long time. Even the coach commented on how well she played. We hosted some guests Saturday evening for dinner. They were great, as were the delicious margaritas they brought for us to taste. Yes, I got the recipe and it is the best--knock your socks off!

This week has been busier. I will be glad to have next week 'off'' from school so there won't be so much running around. This week I started what is to be T's birthday present-a bedroom makeover. I painted the bottom half of the walls a bright pink. It looks great, but I think we need to do a little more in the way of decorative painting. Also to come is a new comforter, lamp, and some curtains. I'll post more as the work continues.

Yesterday, we went to Amy's house for a golf cart ride. J loves this! T, on the other hand, told me she didn't want to do it unless we were getting pizza. We did not. Amy's four year-old son also announced that he was (when asked, "How are you doing?"), "Not Good!". These four year-olds are very funny! They both hung in there during the ride, and a good time was had by all.

Today was a busy day for Thanksgiving parties at the schools. Both schools. Unfortunately, John's work called a last minute meeting so nobody attended J's party (last time all he did was cry anyway), but what a great 'feast' we had at T's school. I asked a friend from J's class to pick him up so T could have my undivided attention. They put on a great spread! The kids even made centerpieces for the tables. It was very nice. The downside....the event was over at noon and T wanted to come home with me. I lost 3 hours of peace and quiet. It was still wonderful to share in this event with her-I'm not sure how much she liked me being there since all she wanted to do was tell me how she wanted to go home with Skylar (her carpool buddy) before the event was even over.
I also took some pictures of the BEAUTIFUL red trees we have here in the neighborhood. It is amazing, since we've had no rain and are in such a severe drought, how beautiful these trees are. Take a look...

Must go do birthday invitations with T. Yes, it is that time already, too.

He is my kid and I love him

J has generally been more difficult than T. He is so much better than he used to be, but today was not one of those days. He desperately needed a haircut. I don't know what I could have done differently, but lets just say, it didn't go well. Meagan, my adorable hairdresser that I adore, 'worked me in' to her schedule today and I'm sure she regretted it. From the minute we walked in there, J said things like, 'get my outta here' and 'I don't have to' (his words). There was screaming, yelling, crying. Oh, and lets not forget the other two year old I was toting around this morning. Thankfully he was an angel. J, on the other hand, had his horns on today. One of the ladies in there told J to be nice to his mommy. Yes, its true, he gives me such a hard time sometimes, but he is also lovable. Here are some great things about him:

1. He's spunky. I mean, this kid has PERSONALITY...some don't!

2. Squishy cheeks

3. The 'huge ones' -if you lie on the ground he tries to wrestle you and says, 'ah ah ah'

4. Big squeezes (hugs)

5. He's loud-sometimes not so good, like in a restaurant, but usually very funny, and just like me.

Anyway, during the 1/2 hour at the hairdressers, I forgot all about the good points and was just ready to chuck him out the window. But, as soon as we left I took a look at my little guy and thought to myself (despite all this)....He is my kid and love him. No matter what. (I just wish he'd act better sometimes)

Here is a picture of the fabulous new haircut. It isn't Meagan's fault that the front isn't straight!! I assured her I'd never bring him back and tipped her well as I went on my way.

Halloween

This neighborhood is absolutely insane on Halloween. You cannot imagine how crazy it gets here, in fact, I have many friends that spend hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on candy. It is also 'the place to go' on Halloween night. I mean where else can you find almost 3,000 single family homes on less than 1/2 acre lots-no wonder it is a trick or treaters dream! Seems it would be cheaper to buy your kids bunches of candy and turn your light off. I guess that is the accountant in me talking. Last night, we saw way too many teenagers without costumes trying to mooch some goodies. Come on! The upside this year was that we were trick or treating in daylight since we haven't set the clocks back yet. There was light out until about 7:15, which was nice for the little people. I think T and J had a great time-Daddy wasn't too excited about being the guy to take them trick or treating, but he did ok. Check out our goodies-45 minutes of trick or treating and this candy will last until the new year!

Halloween Parties

We had 2 Halloween parties yesterday. J refused to wear his costume, so I didn't take any pictures. Well, actually, he wore his Captain Feathersword (from the Wiggles) pants, but not the shirt. So, he looked very silly in his getup, but oh well. T went to school dressed as Snow White-here are some pics from her school party. I enjoyed watching them sing-this class loves to sing. They even sang while music played during their snack. The little boy in the first picture was dressed up as Mater from 'Cars'. Adorable!

Grampy's visit

We've been busy with a visit from Grampy Russ. What fun we had from hanging out by the fire, a soccer game (T scored a goal!), Fall Festival, going to the aquarium (those are beluga whales swimming behind T and Grampy), carving pumpkins, and lots of rides on the 'tractor' (motorized hummer). Also, it was an added bonus that the Boston Red Sox won the World Series while Grampy was here. I sure was glad because it mean only four days of baseball instead of seven. Anyway, a good time was had by all.

Here are some pics from the visit.

Lucky Seven

No seven year itch here....John and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on 10/28/2007. Love him more today after all these years than ever before (we've been together since 1996). I can't remember life before you, babe. Thanks for being a part of mine.

T loses her first tooth

I mean, she is still 4, but last night in the bath, T lost her first tooth. The dentist discovered it loose a few weeks ago, and tonight, out it came! It may have had something to do with all that pizza she had for dinner. She said now she feels normal again. Loose teeth can be a nuisance, after all.

J's school friend and Miss Princess

J's preschool had a day at the park Tuesday. This little girl, Emma, has captured J's heart a little bit. He is constantly saying, "I like Emma. She smiles". It is so cute. And she is a doll, he is right!! Good choice, J.

And so as not to forget, here is a picture of my Princess T. She loves this zebra print headband. If I can get my hands on a leopard/cheetah one, she'd love it even more-she loves the Cheetah Girls and thinks she is one of them with her animal prints. Grrr....

Children's joy

Many moments in life we take for granted. This afternoon, I was doing some work in the garage and after J woke up from his nap, he and T played nicely outside doing this and that. We have a hill beside the house that the kids run up and down and they discovered this beautiful butterfly on one of the butterfly bushes beside the house. This adorable little creature literally entertained the children for over 15 minutes dancing through the air just above their heads. Their laughter was contagious-they were chasing this butterfly all over the yard, and giggling the entire time. A few times the butterfly flew above the house, only to come back as if it was teasing the children. They couldn't get enough! A neighbor even stopped over to see what all the laughter was about. What a precious few moments as I watched my children enjoy a bit of nature on a beautiful Fall evening.

Busy week

Last week (like every week) ended up so busy! But the highlight of the week was going to Hilton Head for a wedding with my wonderful husband. I ate some good seafood (with a bunch of Marylanders present, we were a difficult bunch to please-we all agreed it was good, but not as good as some of our hometown spots), saw a beautiful area, and had a great time. We were there for a wedding-congrats to John and Donna! The wedding was beautiful and a good time was had by all. In the last year, we've had the opportunity to visit some beautiful Southern cities-Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA/Tybee Island, GA, and Hilton Head, SC. All amazing places, each with their own personalities. Thanks to MB and Dave for watching the kiddies for us this weekend. Here are some pics from the event.

No school today

So, we went to the fabulous Atlanta Zoo. Thankfully we got there early enough to see everything before it got too hot (it is October, right? Because its 85 degrees here today). We went with some friends and ran into another neighborhood pal while we were walking in. A good time was had by all except for the 30 seconds my darling daughter went missing. She wanted to go see that elephant and we hung a left towards the lion. A moment of panic for me (I never thought I'd be that Mom), but THANKFULLY she answered me as I shouted her name (yes I was shouting, I'm sure the whole park heard me) and she wasn't far, just out of sight. Needless to say, we held hands the rest of the morning. Not a good feeling at all. Somebody was looking out for me today-I think I would have fell apart if she had been gone any longer. I've never been so happy to see that kid in my life....except at her birth.

Also, I'm including a picture of our baby panda for you, Mom. The baby panda just turned one in early September, I believe.

Webkinz

I'm trying to start thinking about Christmas and birthdays. Yes, its barely October (not even!), but since I have two Christmas birthdays in this house, I have decided to start thinking about this earlier each year. This does not mean that I want to diminsh the other holidays still to come, I mean what is better than one devoted to candy (is Halloween really a holiday?) and another true holiday devoted to EATING (giving Thanks is important, too as there is so much to be thankful for). That said, I have absolutely no idea what to get T (age 4, almost 5). I'd heard of these Webkinz things-'pets' you can adopt and take care of on the Internet. Fun! I thought-T would get to work on the computer and could take some responsibility for a 'pet'. I thought this would be the 'big' gift. Well, I made the mistake of pointing out the Webkinz at the store one day, and...well, now both T and J already have one. They are only $10-$14 each, so it wasn't going to be the big present I thought it was anyway, and it was fun to let the kids pick out their own pet friend. Of course, J picked a dog and T picked a pink pony. The downside is that these little friends really are for kids that are a little older (the computer/Internet side is not easy for the 4 year old to navigate), even though they are stuffed animals (MOM-are you proud-I bought each kid their first stuffed animal from me-I hate stuffed animals, by the way). It is a royal pain to have to check on the pet each day! Yesterday, during T's computer time, the site was down (and how would you explain this to a 4 year old?), and when it finally came up, J was awake. Well, J loves the 'puter' and wanted to jam his puffy paws (hands) all over the keyboard, which, as you can imagine made T quite mad. I think having a real pet would be easier, but that is not going to happen. I wonder why I do this to myself! Still looking for ideas for T for Xmas and Bday-maybe she'll get a computer of her own to surf the Internet, and play games on-it makes me nervous when she works on our new laptop! J is easy-Thomas the Train is HUGE fun, and we've started our collection. Problem is, all the different track systems ARE NOT interchangeable, so you have to make sure you get the same kind each time. Also, J loves Wiggles and is one heck of a ZINGO player (game for ages 4-8-yes, he is 2-makes for good family fun).

As for the rest of the week, it was busy. There is always something keeping me busy! We suddenly had no hot water Wednesday. A nice cold shower Wednesday morning and I was quickly on the phone to a plumber who nicely said they'd be out that day. Great! I had tried to light the pilot light, to no avail. Around noon, when the plumber was supposed to be calling to say he was on his way, he called and asked what kind of hot water heater we had. AO Smith, I said (installed by builder). I was then informed that this plumber (one I had used before) only serviced Rheem hot water heaters and I'd have to call another plumber. What a pain! Long story short (well, sort of), we now have hot water. The plumber, of course, was able to light the pilot light and serve me with a $100 bill to do so. Next time I'll try harder, confident I probably won't blow the house up. I'm sure John was pleased. Sorry, babe.

T had two field trips this week. Wednesday they went to a local pizza shop and got to make their own pizzas in the kitchen. Of course, the kids LOVED that. I personally can't stand taking the kids to this particular pizza joint because they beg for money and want to play the video games and get candy from the candy machine (I mean, why eat the pizza we're paying for?), but J and I stopped in at the end of the filed trip since it was right in the neighborhood and saw the kids eating (and there was a nice piece of pie left for hungry J to eat). How cute they looked with their chef hat on-too bad I didn't have the camera with me. Thank goodness we were only there for short time, as J was angry that 'my T, pp (sweet pea)' was going on the bus back to school and he was not. Today, we went to the county fair-it was remarkably nice! I was glad I went, however, to wash the kids hands after they visited the petting zoo (yucko!). Those places creep me out, but of course, the kids love them. A good time was had by all (including J, who enjoyed following sweet pea's bus back to school this time). T has a great teacher, by the way. She is the only one who took her class on the pizza making field trip, and has 7 years of experience with these 4 year olds. She gets them, and let me tell you, they would make me crazy, even if they are so cute. Thanks to Miss Tonya and Miss RoseAnn for all you do for that class. My T is really enjoying herself. I'm so pleased with this experience.

Weekend is here. Today is MaMaw's birthday-Happy Birthday to you! We'll try to call you later. Soccer tomorrow morning, birthday party Sunday afternoon. Social time with friends probably both nights. Weather has cooled off a wee bit-low 80's and low humidity, finally. Makes for good soccer weather and almost time to use that fireplace out back. But, oh, did I mention that we went to the pool this past Monday? It was over 90 degrees, and...after all...we could! The pool will finally close on Sunday.

Have a good weekend! The above pics are each kid with their Webkinz. T named hers 'Sara'-don't know why and J named his 'Brown'.
